Article Abstract:

The renovation of the J.C. Penney Building in New York, NY, not only improved the building design but also attracted the prestigious French bank Credit Lyonnais to set up their office there. Moed de Armas designed the bank to promote an efficient and solid ambience and a consistent quality throughout the spaces. The designers used a bright palette to enliven the office atmosphere and incorporated modernist elements to produce a design which promotes efficiency, stability and elegance.

Rodney Ross, an African-American talented graphic designer belonging to the ONSITE, is famous for his innovative style, modern designs and economic use of materials. He has designed offices, a graphic design studio for Cross Associates, the ABM office with a campus like atmosphere and spacious conference rooms enclosed within glass walls with his partner Deborah Rachlin.
