Article Abstract:

The annual awards dinner of the International Assn of Lighting Designers was held in New York's Limelight nightclub on May 7, 1992. Awards of Excellence were given to The design firm ofDonovan and Green with lighting designer Jerry Kugler Associates for their workin the Corning Corporate Headquarters in New York, NY. Likewise, designers of the 3M Divisional Headquarters in Maplewood, MN, Hammel Green and Abramson with3M Engineer John Rudquist were accorded the same honor.

Geiger Brickel: on the move

Article Abstract:

Geiger Brickel is planning to introduce a new line of chairs and tables that will come in four models. The product introduction was made possible when company president John Geiger streamlined the manufacturing process to minimize the storage and upholstery work needed for its products. Geiger Brickel was formed from the acquisition of the Brickel Co., a chair manufacturer, by Geiger's own textile firm.
