P.S., I love hue

Article Abstract:

Publicolor, a nonprofit organization headed by designer Ruth Lande Shuman, is responsible for putting the bright colors that can be seen on 13 neglected public-school buildings in New York City, NY. The group, which started the campaign in 1994, receives much of its funding from private and corporate donations but has also been receiving support from the Board of Education since 1996. Publicolor was instrumental in replacing the gray and beige look of the city's institutional buildings with the bright colors of the rainbow.
