Restaurant

Article Abstract:

Felderman and Nadel Design renovated a restaurant space in Beverly Hills, CA, in a manner that incorporates the street and borrows from Italian style. For the eating place On Canon, Stanley Felderman engaged the street by inserting wood-framed French windows that open onto a sidewalk terrace. He created a raised bar and a dining counter that is overlooking the main room but is somewhat filtered by a steel-enclosed backboard of translucent glass. Other features include a side patio that also serves as an outdoor dining room and a semiprivate corner area that can be used for parties.

Restaurant

Article Abstract:

The interior design of the Double A restaurant in Santa Fe, NM, was inspired by images of the American west during the turn of the century. Designer Cheryl Brantner and her associates brought together some elements of the old and new creating a unique and sophisticated atmosphere that is both intimate and inviting. Brantner provided the restaurant with clear and open spaces to highlight the excellent craftsmanship that went into the design.

Restaurant

Article Abstract:

Pacific Design Center commissioned RAW Architecture to design the restaurant that would establish the center as a public space. The designers made the restaurant a welcoming venue with the use of wood tones, muted plain colors and soft materials. An arch delineates the reception desk while allowing a view of the dining area. Furnishings used at the restaurant include armchairs, tables and umbrellas in primary colors.
