Record company

Article Abstract:

RAW Architecture updated the interiors of Motown Record Co. LP's offices in Detroit, MI. The maze-like floor plan was given a more logical arrangement while maintaining the presence of small private offices and departments and corridors are designated by colors and lighting. Windows were built to let in natural light. Meanwhile, accents such as a glass table for the conference room, sound absorbent walls and vibrant colors emphasize the company's involvement in creative processes.

Article Abstract:

Vic Huber Photography commissioned Carlile/Coatsworth/Shankweiler Architects to integrate a bowed expanse of frosted glass in its studio in Irvine, CA.
