Article Abstract:
People battling cancer are frequently victims of employment discrimination. More than 1,000 suits were filed between Jul 1992 and Mar 1995 in which discrimination against a cancer patient was charged. Women cancer patients seem to be victimized more frequently than their male counterparts.

Ovarian cancer is not common, but it is dangerous. Only about 20% of patients with ovarian cancer survive five years. A transvaginal ultrasound or a CA-125 test can help diagnose ovarian cancer, but the possibility of a false result exists.
