How "low-cal" foods can make you fat

Article Abstract:

Some foods labeled as low-calorie foods are still high in fat. Some cuts of chicken can have more fat than certain cuts of beef. Certain types of fish are higher in fat than others, and frying fish or adding sauces increases the amount of fat and calories.

People should not cook meat on a bone or large pieces of meat in a microwave oven because the meat may not cook evenly. Other foods that are inappropriate for the microwave include large amounts of oil for frying foods, eggs in the shell and yeast breads.
