The work of Gertrud Falke-Heller who was a trained dancer in movement and performance is presented. Her life, her work within developments in dance and movement education, and the application of her practice and her legacy in the world of performance are discussed.

Barbara Mackin Barker Warner, a leading scholar passed away on January 3, 2002. She was internationally claimed dance historian and had been a Ballet West ballerina from New York University.
