The International Center of Photography's first triennial exhibition, 'Strangers' is illustrated. The 'Strangers' belongs to a category where each and every public photograph is an invasion into the world of strangers, for the photographer, and every private one a confrontation with the strangers.

Cindy Sherman inside and out

The exhibition, curated by the Serpentine Gallery's Rochelle Steiner and Cindy Sherman, gives a thematical view of the artist's twenty-five-year career. Sherman's hall of guises at the Serpentine has fifty-nine photographs that depict the full extent of her malleable face.
