Article Abstract:

The artistry of the Russian ballerina Diana Vishnyeva originates from her training and interpretive skill. She possesses a developed classical technique, using the arms to frame both face and gesture. Her novelty in performance is based on reaccenting materials rather than rephrasing them. Vishnyeva is also willing to risk difficult roles.
