Article Abstract:

Merce Cunningham's company performed 'Ground Level Overlay' and 'Split Sides' at the Clarice Smith Center on the University of Maryland's campus in College Park, Washington, D.C. He involved resident talents Meriam Rosen, Alvin Mayes and Ruben Garciani to perform in both 'Split Sides' and 'Ground Level Overlay', which were strong specimens of Cunningham dances.

Cooking with Balanchine 3: In Waltz Time

Article Abstract:

Karin von Aroldingen, who collaborated with George Balanchine in staging many of his successful shows, recounts the interesting experiences she had while travelling with him. She found him to be a good cook and gives a list of recipes which Balanchine enjoyed cooking.
