Asteroid kin

Article Abstract:

The study of comets and meteorites is an effective alternative to studying asteroids, which requires special equipment and training. Meteorites are easily observed and samples are commercially available. Comets are, likewise, easy to observe because of their predictability and relatively easy to model.

Mercury is a fascinating planet for students to study. Various methods for teaching students about Mercury's geology, particularly its cratered surface, are presented.
