ET - Agriculture in Oregon, CEMSS: Control Ecological Mouse Support System

Article Abstract:

A hands-on multi-curricular approach to space education from a practical standpoint is provided by a joint project between the Oregon Public Education Network and the Oregon chapters of the National Space and Mars Societies. An analysis is presented of the self-contained experimental package designed to show the basic functions of a full-sized life support system.

Japan's solar systems

Article Abstract:

Japan embarks on research activities that aim to understand and utilize ways of developing solar power satellites (SPS). Some of Japan's important contributions to SPS research include the creation of SPS2000 demonstration satellite and the formulation of microwave power transmission.
