Licensed to fly?: Space tourism's next battle

Article Abstract:

A landmark bill for space tourism was signed into law by President George W. Bush that established the definitions for suborbital space travel, and took important steps to improve the regulatory environment and reduce investor uncertainty facing this prospective new industry. The bill dubbed the Commercial Space launch Amendments Act of 2004, which provided a needed boost to the fledging commercial space travel business.

Scientists ready to hop aboard manned moon initiative

Article Abstract:

Europe, Japan, and China had all set their sights on moon long before the announcement of the U.S. president George W. Bush's back to moon initiative. The new moon initiative researchers can break new ground on lunar studies, especially related to the arrangement in moon's interior, reasons for heavily cratered landscape and prospects of water.

Partisan politics: shattering space dream

Article Abstract:

U.S. President George W. Bush's announcement of redirecting National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA's) human spaceflight program back to the moon and eventually on to Mars has created mixed reactions in both politics and public. Democratic supporters have expressed many doubts over this proposal.
