Project constellation

Article Abstract:

Space officials at NASA are going full steam ahead with preparations for the ambitious Constellation program envisaged by President George W. Bush whereby they plan to send humans as well as cargo for space exploration. Officials at NASA are going ahead with preparations for the program despite detractors saying that the project is doomed and they have asked those in the space industry for suggestions about various designs as well as other critical equipments.

A detailed review on the economic impact of commercial space transportation was released last month by the Federal Aviation Administration Office of Commercial Space Transportation in cooperation with the Satellite Industries Association. Researchers report that the industry segment contributes $61.3 billion to the economy.
