The international space treaty regime in the globalization era

Article Abstract:

Some people in the US space community feel that the Outer Space Treaty is outdated and hence the US should withdraw from the treaty. However, the Department of Defense's General Counsel published An Assessment of International Legal Issues, which clearly refutes that the treaties are out of date as it supports the US' national security, commercial and environmental interests during the era of globalization.
