History has shown that global exploration is the main reason behind the growth of Western civilization. Similarly, the exploration of the outer space would allow man to expand knowledge regarding the universe and the heavenly bodies.

Sailing the solar winds: magsails can open the oceans of space to tomorrow's travellers

Solar wind can be used for the propulsion of spacecraft. Magsails are spacecraft that use the proton- and electron-filled stream of plasma emitted by the sun for propulsion.
