The EV is an electric 100-mile-range commuter car built to Honda's high standards. The 24 12-volt nickel/metal-hydride batteries are under the chassis, providing a low center of gravity and electrical isolation. It will be offered through a lease that covers full service and insurance.

A round-trip from Paris, France, to Monaco is described. The goal was to take as many less-traveled two-lane roads along the way as possible. The transportation was provided by a Peugeot 106 GTI.
