53rd annual 12 hours of Sebring: GTI: No longer a Corvette stranglehold

Article Abstract:

Maserati MC12, Aston Martin DBR9 and Corvette C6-R were the three brand-new cars that participated in the 53rd annual, 12 hours of endurance racing at Sebring. Maserati MC12, Ferrari Enzo-based car finished fifth in the race and was quite competitive whereas the ability of the Aston and Corvette could be guessed after the race in Le Mans on 18 June 2005.

Comparison on road test performance of SRT-4 sedan manufactured by Dodge, priced at $20,450 and Ion Red Line coupe by Saturn Corporation, priced at $20,385 is given. Dodge won the comparison with 380.8 points showing better in performance like pick-up, engine, gear box and in interior as well as exterior styling and lost points in price factor.
