BMW has launched the 500 Series sports wagon, BMW 540i. The sports wagon is fitted with a 282-bhp 4.4-liter V-8 engine. It is equipped with BMW's $2,800 Sport Package, combined with 235/45ZR-17 Dunlop front and wheel tires. The 1999 model has VANOS continuously variable valve timing on its intake camshafts. BMW540i is priced at $54,050.
