The term 'muscle car' usually had the descriptor 'American' attached to it earlier, but lately a slew of potent performers from across the pond signal that the concept of big horsepower is not a homegrown phenomenon. The new car Ruf R50, created by Ruf Automobiles, is a mid-engine supercar with distinctive bodywork that hints at the Porsche engine roots is to be launched at Geneva in 2005.

Mercedes-Benz has introduced its new R-Class, a minivan for 6-passengers, three-row seating and is about 10 in. longer at 203.0 in. and rides on an incredibly long 126.6-in.wheelbase. 2005 Ford: Focus ST
