Ferrari's new coupe: it's not a new GTO, but it is the most exciting front-engined Ferrari since the Daytona

Article Abstract:

Ferrari's Testarossa and its derivatives will be replaced by a front-engined two-seater that may be called the F555, although some believe it will also be named Daytona. Many refer to the car as the new GTO. No more than 700 of the cars will be produced each year.

Where have all the turbos gone?

Article Abstract:

Manufacturers began to include turbocharged engines in their automobiles in 1978, but it has since dropped off for several reasons. The slightly better fuel economy and power of turbocharged engines is now surpassed by fuel injection and larger engines.

Porsche 986 Boxster

Article Abstract:

The Boxster will be available by the summer of 1996, at a price of about $40,000. The topless two-seater has a flowing, rounded body reminiscent of the Spyder of the 1950's. Four-cylinder and six-cylinder engines are being considered.
