The AM General Hummer road test conducted by G. Gordon Liddy is not a reflection on Car and Driver magazine's editorial politics. The Liddy article was intended as an amusing look at how an extremist hardnose evaluates a vehicle which can best be described as extreme.

A museum with memories

Article Abstract:

A former Navy officer recalls the days when he served aboard the USS Intrepid, which was active during World War II. The aircraft carrier is now the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum, which features memorabilia, audio-visual presentations and actual airplanes.
