Article Abstract:

A driver describes his participation in the development of the prototype Ford Contour SVT. The car is tested at a 24-hour car race. The SVT comes with a 200-hp DOHC 2.5-liter V-6 engine. Ford plans to put the SVT into production in 1996, possibly under the HO designation.

Article Abstract:

An automobile by Ford is modified. The automobile was repainted, a police scanner installed, a supercharger installed, and lower-compression pistons installed. The car wound up with 355 horsepower. Performance is detailed.
