The winning team of the 1992 One Lap of America included race car driver John Buffum. This event raised contributions for the treatment of multiple sclerosis. A Winston Cup competition is scheduled to take place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in August of 1993.

The 1993 event sponsored by Car and Driver magazine will have some changes from last year, such as the new starting point at the Race Rock Cafe in Fraser, MI. Also, former managing editor John Christy passed away on Dec 24, 1992.
