Article Abstract:

The Northwest Territories are now called Nunavut. Rankin Inlet, a village of 2000, is the regional center for the government of Nunavut. Airut Taxi Service driver Zachary Nilaulak uses a 1995 Plymouth Vogager with 37,000 odometer miles. He knows all his customers by name and charges a flat fee for service in town or out.

The Bitter reality: hey, buddy, got $7 million?

Automobile manufacturer Erich Bitter has introduced his newest design since 1987, the Bitter Berlina sports sedan. Bitter is in the process of rounding up investors to contribute toward the car's $7 million start-up costs. The Berlina's estimated base price will be $79,000.
