Treasury issues: looking around, looking ahead

Article Abstract:

The Treasury Management International organization held its Treasurers' Forum in Mar 1999 with 350 treasury professionals present. The importance of corporate treasuries in strategic risk management, risk management derivative usage and corporate-wide risk management was discussed. A major issue of importance to European corporate treasurers was the introduction of the euro on Jan 1, 1999.
