Targeting survival: integration site selection by retroviruses and LTR-retrotransposons

The author reviews the publications on retroviruses and long terminal repeat-retrotransposons. The topics of interest include the analysis of genome-wide studies of retroviral integration, and the integration targeting strategies of retroelements.
