Characterization of a thermostable L-arabinose (D-galactose) isomerase from the hyperthermophilic eubacterium Thermotoga maritima

Article Abstract:

The biochemical characterization of L-arabinose isomerase(AI) from T. maritima is described. The comparison of its mesophilic counterparts and the role of divalent metal ions, in the activity and thermal stability of this enzyme are also examined.

Characteristics of a new enantioselective thermostable dipeptidase from Brevibacillus borstelensis BCS-1 and its application to synthesis of a D-amino-acid-containing dipeptide

Article Abstract:

A study on the cloning, expression, and characterization of a thermostable D-stereospecific dipeptidase (BDP) from Brevibacillus borstelensis BCS-1, is presented. The industrial applicability of this enzyme is tested.

Immobilization of saccharomyces cerevisiae cystathionine gama lyase and application of the product to cystathionine synthesis

Article Abstract:

Enzymes of saccharomyces cerevisiae are immobilized and its recyclic use is investigated. The immobilized product catalyzed five cycles of the reaction without losing its effect.
