Devil and the deep blue sea?

Article Abstract:

The advantages and disadvantages of using nanotechnology in restoring damaged habitats are discussed. San Francisco-based Planktos is planning to release nano-sized particles of zero-valent iron (ZVI) into the ocean so that the plankton will take up that iron, consume greater quantities of carbon dioxide from the environment, and curb global warming.
