Induction of Xenopus oocyte meiotic maturation by MAP kinase

Article Abstract:

Mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase is involved in the meiotic maturation of Xenopus laevis oocytes. It appears to have some of the functions of the Xenopus c-Mos protein kinase.
