Left and right ventricular contributions to the formation of the interventricular septum in the mouse heart

Article Abstract:

A study on transgene expression patterns of mice, to understand the morphogenetic process that leads to the formation of interventricular septum (IVS) during mammalian embryonic heart development, is presented. Left and right ventricular myocytes help in IVS formation, which in turn contributes to left and right ventricular chamber separation.
