Research has been conducted on spiders' genome size. The authors have provided genome size estimates for different spider species, but have not been able to detect clear-cut pattern variation.

Inheritance of White Head Spotting in Natural Populations of South American Water Rat (Nectomys squamipes Rodentia: Sigmodontinae)

Article Abstract:

Research on Nectomys squamipes shows that white head spot inheritance can be delineated using the major gene recessive model with incomplete genotype penetrance.
