Rapid and phosphoinositol-dependent binding of the SWI/SNF-like BAF complex to chromatin after T lymphocyte receptor signaling

Article Abstract:

Lymphocyte activation is usually attended by discernible transformations in chromatin structure. It was observed that antigen receptor signaling stimulates the fast association of the BAF complex with chromatin. PIP2, which is controlled by activation stimuli, is adequate in vitro to target the BAF complex to chromatin, but it has no impact on related chromatin remodeling complexes with SNF2L or hISWI.

BRCA1 is associated with a human SW1/SNF-related complex: linking chromatin remodeling to breast cancer

Article Abstract:

Results reveal that tumor suppressor gene BRCA1 is associated with a multiprotein complex in human cells exhibiting chromatin remodeling activity. Analysis of the complex show that BRCA1 is associated with a SWI/SNF-realted complex and functionally BRCA1 controls transcription through chromatin structure modulation.

A human BRCA2 complex containing a structural DNA binding component influences cell cycle progression

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on the the human BRCA2 gene germline mutations. The isolation of the 2 MDa BRCA2-containing complex and identification of the structural DNA binding component have been carried out and the results are reported.
