Petteway, Jr, the senior vice president of R&D at Talecris Biotherapeutics is well known for his works on HIV and pathogen safety in blood plasma-based medicines, as he completely focuses on the product safety, in addition to its benefits. Apart from developing various protein therapies, he also encourages new students and scientists for further research and development, as the industry for such therapies is growing at a high rate.
