A good news year

Article Abstract:

The increase in profit and earnings-per-share growth for the media companies are attributed to cost-control programs and development in Australian companies' advertising expenditure. The 2003-2004 results of the ad market are presented in terms of earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of the Publishing & Broadcasting Limited (BPL), Rural Press and West Australian Newspapers. Media companies are speculating that the Federal Government may change the cross-media and foreign-ownership rules.
