The financial performance of Portman, an iron ore company based in Western Australia is discussed. This small company reported an average earnings per share growth of 189% in the past three years. For achieving such a feat, the company confronted the environmentalists and eventually yielded to a friendly takeover bid from United States iron ore mining company, Cleveland-Cliffs. George Jones, the chairman of the company discusses the future prospects for the company.
