AOL aims to revive Compuserve with introduction of upgrade

Article Abstract:

America Online Inc. is expected to unveil an upgrade for its recently acquired CompuServe unit. The service has been reinvented to be different enough that it would not steal users from its parent company. CompuServe hopes the service will appeal to more serious users who aren't interested in AOL's chat rooms and celebrity forums."There's a big opportunity for something that's a little more adult" than AOL, said Audrey Weil, CompuServe's chief operating officer, adding that it "isn't a leisure product."
