Actionable feedback: unlocking the power of learning and performance improvement

Article Abstract:

Managers must understand the emotional and cognitive problems emerging from a critical feedback given to an employee. Such an understanding will help them in coming up with methods to improve the performance of the employee through measures like training and mentoring thereby preventing the need for critical feedback.

When employees at work don't get it: a model for enhancing individual employee change in response to performance feedback

Article Abstract:

Individual's constraints and the organization's constraints can sometimes prevent the desired results from a performance feedback. The manipulation of these two precursors can improve the performance of an employee. A method of doing so is presented.
