The high jet fuel prices and the competition are likely to affect the bottom lines of Air Transport Industry. Short-term investors are advised to stay away from the sector though smaller carriers could be considered for 3 to 5 years holding. Statistical data of some of the companies and their rankings as of September 10, 2004 is furnished.
