Statistics of some of the companies in the Air transportation industry and their securities rankings as of December 10, 2004 are furnished. The industry is plagued with poor operating conditions, high fuel costs and competitive fares; consequently the companies in the sector are not likely to report good performances. Stock prices will reflect the trends in the sector and are bound to be risky.
