AlliedSignal files suit to block merger of B.F. Goodrich and Coltec Industries

Article Abstract:

Even though the FTC is currently investigating possible anti-trust violations with a merger between B.F. Goodrich and Coltec Industries, Allied Signal has filed suit that is also related to the potential merger. Allied's suit wants to see a permanent injunction against the merger because of a 1995 10-year agreement between it and Coltec that involves sharing confidential information and not competing in the making of aircraft landing-gear systems.
