Auto parts (original equipment)

Article Abstract:

Earnings gains are expected to be solid for the original automobile parts industry in 1997 with the steady and robust production levels in the auto industry. Automobile manufacturers are awarding more parts contracts to independent suppliers who can meet high standards, and many parts suppliers are increasing their global market shares as well. These stocks are timely for 1997 and 1998, but investors must be more selective through 2000-2002.
