Avoid Getting Stung By An Internet Scam

Article Abstract:

Many old fraudulent business schemes and offers are being revived on the Internet. For example one Florida travel agency was offering free vacations that ended up costing hundreds of dollars. Pyramid schemes, also, are finding new life on the Internet. On the other hand, customers can also be deceitful and many small firms doing business on the Internet are the victims of credit-card fraud.

High Time To Swat The Millennium Bug

Article Abstract:

Many small companies have not dealt with the year 2000 computer bug with about 9 months to go before the millennium. One company found that it had to get an updated version of its accounting software in order to by year 2000 compliant. Various commercially available programs that help with the problem are listed. Web sites with information are listed.
