Bank industry

Article Abstract:

Bank stocks are not a wise investment in Sep 1996 because of an increase in loan delinquencies and write-offs. Credit card loans have been adding up and decreasing the profits of banks with major loan losses. Home loan losses have also been increasing. There is also concern that the US Federal Reserve Board will increase short-term interest rates because of the speed of economic growth in the US.
