Banks struggle with the needs of e-commerce

Article Abstract:

Australia's banking industry is trying to improve the online financial services it offers to small business owners, but those clients are frustrated by the banks' inability to tackle their concerns. Small business owners are concerned about security, cost, and convenience. Merchant credit card transactions still present a security risk. New services often do not work with existing business processes or equipment. Also, many small business merchants are skeptical about online banking set-up charges that can reach $2000.
