Statistics of some of the companies in the Biotechnology industry and their securities rankings as of December 24, 2004 are furnished. Though the recent past has not been worth mentioning, some of the companies in the sector are likely to post good earnings, consequently their shares too are expected to appreciate. But the effects of Medicare's drug benefit program on the sector could affect the earnings.
