Building a foreign sales base: the roles of capabilities and alliances for entrepreneurial firms

Article Abstract:

Studies done on how technological capabilities and international alliances affect entrepreneurial firms' abilities to develop foreign sales in a highly competitive global industry is discussed. Results reveal that the influence of firm capabilities and international alliances differs across entrepreneurial and established firms due to the dissimilar strategies and resource characteristics of entrepreneurial and established firms.

Cognition, creativity, and entrepreneurship

Article Abstract:

Cognitive approaches to creativity are discussed since they are connected to an important task of entrepreneurs, generating novel and valuable ideas for business ventures. Knowledge plays a paradoxical role in creative endeavors and by careful application of selected set of cognitive processes, it is possible to put knowledge to more effective use and improve entrepreneurial creativity.

The cognitive perspective: a valuable tool for answering entrepreneurship's basic "why" questions

Cognitive perspective can be highly useful to the field of entrepreneurship specifically it can help entrepreneurship in answering three basic questions that have long been central to the field. It is suggested that cognitive perspective can prove extremely beneficial to the field of entrepreneurship in its efforts to address several basic issues.
