Business TV fights the intranet invasion

Article Abstract:

Many corporations that relied on business television networks to convey internal corporate communications have turned to their internal intranets for that purpose. Mediasat, a business television provider, has started a satellite-based private network service for companies in Australia and New Zealand. Companies can link this network to their existing Internet infrastructure. Paul Mullen, managing director of Mediasat, says the company's business television enterprise will incorporate more Internet technology to meet the needs of corporate intranet users.
