Cash flow forecasting and updating for building projects

Article Abstract:

Cash flow forecasting is an indispensable process in cash flow management which also requires cash controlling and updating as a function of time. Mathematical models which take bill of materials, estimate and schedule into account are used in cash forecasting. The polynomial model is acknowledged as the most accurate because it makes necessary allowances for updating the cost and cash implications of changes in the construction industry.

Article Abstract:

A sales forecasting and cash budgeting model for automobile dealerships is developed to improve financial management. The model, which can be used with small-scale microcomputers, allows better coordination of dealership operations, including new and used cars, parts and service. The two-step process will enable the retail automotive sector to effectively monitor cash management and cash flow positions.
